Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Three months of related experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Ability to follow directions accurately
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to maintain proper grooming and dress code standards
- Knowledge of food service health codes and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, and other cooking utensils
- Place items in proper dish machine racks and operate dish machine efficiently
- Sort and stack clean items and deliver them to proper storage areas
- Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand
- Segregate and dispose of trash, garbage, and recycling properly
- Clean and sanitize waste cans
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly
- Clean up spills and maintain safe, dry floors
- Notify Kitchen Supervisor of dish machine temperature issues
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and kitchen work areas
- Assist cooks with food assembly during high production events
