Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 16 years
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk considerable distances
  • Ability to work independently when necessary
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation processes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Availability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Experience in retail counting and reconciliation of money preferred
  • Knowledge of food service preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Willingness to receive on-the-job training
  • Serv Safe certification may be required depending on location
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending on location

Job Duties

  • Monitor and record proper temperature of food
  • Set up and maintain a clean and sanitized serving area
  • Prepare and serve food items
  • Restock food areas
  • Clean and sanitize equipment
  • Receive payment for food and beverages using a computerized register
  • Comply with Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines for food service
  • Provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with patrons and co-workers
  • Operate food service equipment such as grills, beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers, steam equipment, dishwashers, refrigerators, and freezers
  • Maintain quality control standards
