Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience as a dishwasher or porter preferred
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand for long periods
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- maintain neat and professional appearance

Job Qualifications
- Previous porter or dishwasher experience preferred
- knowledge of dishwashing equipment and cleaning chemicals
- ability to follow instructions and work well in a team

- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- flexibility to work irregular shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Ensure all service and kitchen wares are clean and sanitized
- aide in cleaning inside and outside the venue
- proper storage and removal of garbage and soiled linens
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, kitchen, and entire venue
- follow supervisor's instructions and support co-workers
- possess in-depth knowledge of the dish machine
- properly use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies
- comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards
- communicate product needs to chefs and purchaser
- perform opening and closing dish station procedures
- stock stations with prescribed supplies
- maintain and clean kitchen equipment
- wipe down and sanitize stations
- perform opening and closing side-work
- report equipment or furniture damage immediately
- attend daily pre-service meetings and training sessions
- portray a positive and professional attitude
- work effectively as part of a team
- assist or complete additional tasks as assigned
