Job Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of professional kitchen experience
- Culinary training preferred
- Experience should include dishwashing, prep/cooking, and expediting
- If does not meet experience, can start as dishwasher or prep cook
- ServSafe training certification preferred or must complete training
- Proficiency in kitchen operations and execution
- Must have working knowledge of U.S. measurements
- Ability to follow safe use of chemical/cleaning materials
- Must work effectively with supervisors and co-workers
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift frequently
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations positively
- Bilingual Spanish and English a plus
- Flexible working hours including holidays and weekends

Job Duties
- Prepare menu items accurately and promptly through point of sale system
- Only make items ordered through the point of sale system and act with integrity
- Accommodate special requests with management approval to enhance guest experience
- Prepare dishes following recipes to maintain quality and consistency
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and high-quality food service
- Remake items as instructed by supervisor or manager
- Adhere to food safety guidelines including temperature control, labeling, and cross contamination prevention
- Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes and cleaning work area
- Stock kitchen areas with dry products and prep materials
- Use FIFO system to reduce waste and keep food fresh
- Maintain accurate waste logs
- Update supervisor and kitchen manager on inventory
- Maintain professional attitude with coworkers and customers
- Follow safety practices including use of protective gear
- Secure food and equipment
- Comply with opening, mid, and closing procedures
- Attend trainings and meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
