Job Requirements
- Ability to work part-time
- available to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- must be able to stand for extended periods
- ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards
- no prior felony convictions
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- basic literacy in English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a commercial kitchen or dishwashing role beneficial but not required
- ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- good physical stamina for standing and manual tasks
- ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- good team player with positive attitude
- basic communication skills
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in dishwashing machine racks for cleaning
- washes pots, pans, and trays ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation
- polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and techniques
- ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels
- keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet sanitation standards
- washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces
- removes trash and cleans garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- helps load and unload supplies
- performs other duties as assigned
