Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good attitude required
- must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
- knowledge of sanitary practices
- maintains proper grooming and dress code standards
- work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment
- ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
- attention to detail
- ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods, work with hot water and steam, bend, stoop, and lift up to 45 lbs
- regular attendance is essential
- ability to work at all Legends Global facilities in Wichita and Andover
Job Qualifications
- prior dishwashing or kitchen work in food service
- ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work
- positive attitude and neat appearance
- must speak and understand English
- attend all training for food and beverage department and within the venue
Job Duties
- wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand
- place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
- stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, pantry and refrigerators
- sweep or scrub floors
- clean garbage cans with water or steam
- follow safety rules and maintain sanitary work area
- take direction well and perform duties as assigned
- report to executive chef or executive sous chef in appropriate uniform for assigned location
- follow all food and beverage department rules and regulations
