Job Requirements

  • Previous dishwashing or janitorial experience
  • knowledge of food service sanitation
  • ability to read, print, and speak simple sentences
  • ability to follow simple instructions
  • possession of an insured vehicle
  • valid Alaska driver’s license with no or low points
  • clean driving record
  • proof of insurance
  • ability to pass criminal background check
  • ability to obtain security clearance
  • willingness to work varied schedules
  • ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform physical tasks regularly

Job Duties

  • Adhere to and demonstrate company core values and mission
  • provide direct labor following OSHA safety standards
  • wash and rinse dishes manually or mechanically
  • operate dish machines including loading and cleaning
  • sort dishes and silverware by size and type
  • perform dining area maintenance tasks such as bussing tables and wiping counters
  • complete food handler training and participate in company meetings and trainings
  • maintain positive relationships with customers and coworkers
  • perform other assigned duties
