Job Requirements

  • previous dishwashing or janitorial experience preferred
  • knowledge of food service sanitation
  • ability to read, print, and speak simple sentences
  • ability to apply common sense and follow instructions
  • insured vehicle
  • valid Alaska driver’s license
  • clean driving record
  • proof of insurance
  • ability to pass criminal background check
  • ability to obtain security clearance
  • willingness to work varied schedules

Job Qualifications

  • food service sanitation knowledge
  • prior dishwashing or janitorial experience preferred
  • ability to read, print, and speak simple sentences
  • common sense and ability to follow simple instructions
  • insured vehicle and valid Alaska driver’s license with clean driving record
  • ability to pass background check and obtain security clearance
  • understanding of OSHA safety standards
  • ability to interpret MSDS materials
  • knowledge of industry-standard equipment
  • tact and pleasantness with customers
  • willingness to work with individuals with disabilities
  • flexibility in schedule
  • ability to respond to team and site needs

Job Duties

  • embrace core values and mission
  • follow OSHA safety standards
  • manually or mechanically wash and rinse dishes, glasses and silverware
  • operate dish machine including cleaning and de-liming
  • sort dishes and silverware by size and type
  • maintain cleanliness of dining area including busing tables, wiping counters, sweeping and mopping
  • perform additional dining facility duties such as cleaning kitchen hoods, grease traps, windows, mats, and replenishing self-service areas
  • complete food handler training and participate in company meetings
  • build positive relationships with customers and coworkers
  • follow company policies
  • perform other duties as assigned
