Job Requirements
- current food handler certificate maintained through employment
- availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
- capability to lift over 50 lbs if necessary
- authorization to legally work in the US
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting preferred
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- strong communication and organizational skills
- willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Job Duties
- listen to the customer by communicating effectively with team members to meet guest preferences and kitchen needs
- be respectful of company resources by maintaining cleanliness and order in prep areas and ensuring equipment is checked and maintained
- show urgency by organizing and prioritizing tasks during high-demand periods to keep workstations stocked
- create positive energy by fostering collaboration and assisting team members during busy times
- support new team members by providing guidance and training on maintaining organized and stocked sections
- maintain hygiene and sanitation standards to ensure a safe kitchen environment
- comply with company policies and perform additional duties as assigned
