Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years old
- must have a valid County Food Handler Card on file with the company and in possession for each event
- must understand and follow specific instructions for assigned functions
- must have a high school diploma or equivalent unless currently enrolled
- must complete all pre-employment forms
- must successfully pass a background check
- must be able to work independently and with groups
- must be able to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- ability to be on feet for several hours
- ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in wet floor conditions, extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise
- certain restrictions apply
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent or currently enrolled
- valid County Food Handler Card
- ability to understand and follow specific instructions
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- prior experience in the food industry preferred but not required
- ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments
Job Duties
- wash pots, pans, silverware and other kitchen tools using commercial dishwasher or by hand
- maintain sanitation of kitchen equipment, small wares, glasses, and utensils
- inform supervisors of product levels for normal use in event functions
- keep immediate work area organized and clean
- assist with sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and storing clean dishes properly
- participate in basic food preparation tasks as needed
- work collaboratively with kitchen team during and after events
