Job Requirements

  • must be at least 16 years old
  • must have a valid County Food Handler Card on file with the company and in possession for each event
  • must understand and follow specific instructions for assigned functions
  • must have a high school diploma or equivalent unless currently enrolled
  • must complete all pre-employment forms
  • must successfully pass a background check
  • must be able to work independently and with groups
  • must be able to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • ability to be on feet for several hours
  • ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work in wet floor conditions, extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise
  • certain restrictions apply

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent or currently enrolled
  • valid County Food Handler Card
  • ability to understand and follow specific instructions
  • ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • prior experience in the food industry preferred but not required
  • ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments

Job Duties

  • wash pots, pans, silverware and other kitchen tools using commercial dishwasher or by hand
  • maintain sanitation of kitchen equipment, small wares, glasses, and utensils
  • inform supervisors of product levels for normal use in event functions
  • keep immediate work area organized and clean
  • assist with sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and storing clean dishes properly
  • participate in basic food preparation tasks as needed
  • work collaboratively with kitchen team during and after events
