Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift heavy kitchen equipment and supplies
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to follow instructions carefully
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Job Duties
- Wash dirty dishes, pots, pans, trays, silverware, etc
- Separate and remove trash and place it in designated containers
- Sweep and mop floors
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other surface areas
- Ensure restrooms are clean and fully stocked before and throughout operating hours
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Restock tools and supplies for the next shift
- Keep work areas and walk-in cooler/freezer organized
- Help line cooks properly prep, store, and date food
- Clean restaurant equipment while following safety protocols
