- Previous dishwashing or related experience preferred

Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment to ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation
- Washes pots, pans and trays following assigned procedures to maintain hygiene standards
- Polishes silverware using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth as required to ensure cleanliness
- Ensures compliance with safety procedures including maintaining appropriate temperatures and chemical levels for sanitation
- Keeps dish area orderly and safe by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors
- Cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces to maintain sanitary conditions
- Removes trash, steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans and transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Helps load and unload supplies and performs other duties as assigned
