Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow directions and work independently or with a team
- basic English language skills for communication
- authorized to work in the United States

- basic understanding of sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them on racks or conveyor to dishwashing machine to ensure cleanliness and sanitation
- washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures to maintain hygiene
- polishes silverware using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth depending on equipment used
- ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures in all tasks
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure sanitation and safety
- washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
- removes trash and places it in designated containers, steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- helps load and unload supplies and products
- performs other duties as assigned
