Job Requirements
- Walking, standing or bending for 5 to 7 hours per day, 2 hours at a time

- Frequently uses fingering and handling for picking up objects such as dishes, pots, pans, brushes, scrub pads
- Occasionally needs firm grasping and twisting or turning
- Uses upper extremities to lift 26 to 75 lbs occasionally

- Push 76 to 100 lbs occasionally and pull 26 to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, reach above shoulder level frequently

Job Duties
- Performs all daily cleaning and sanitizing before the end of scheduled shift
- Assures that all Food Servers and Dishroom personnel follow proper cleaning procedures and works cooperatively and compatibly with them to assure that all dishwashing and cleaning is complete and accurate
- Washes pots correctly using 3 sink procedure
- Maintains the supply of clean pots and utensils for food preparers and servers
- Demonstrates the proper use of all chemicals and cleaning tools
- Understands and safely performs cleaning of floor mats, walk-in refrigerators, racks, walls, and dishmachine
- Checks leftovers before discarding and informs Chef of problems or excess waste
- Reports damaged or unsafe equipment or structure immediately
- Accurately fills in on trucks, receiving, cafeteria, or beltline when needed
- Demonstrates and models the hospital's core values and customer service behaviors
- Performs additional duties as needed
