- prior dishwashing experience preferred
- ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- willing to work full-time schedule with varying days
- ability to perform assigned tasks reliably and efficiently

- ability to operate dishwashing machinery and polish silverware

Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or using dishwashing machine
- washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- polishes silverware using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth
- maintains compliance with safety procedures
- monitors and maintains dishwashing equipment temperatures and chemical levels
- keeps dish area tidy and in compliance with safety standards
- cleans kitchen floors, worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
- removes trash and steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- assists with loading and unloading supplies and product
- performs other duties as assigned
