Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous dishwashing or kitchen sanitation experience preferred
- ability to work flexible shifts including full-time and part-time
- willingness to adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- availability to work in a fast-paced environment
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Prior professional dishwashing experience is a plus
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- basic knowledge of safety procedures
- physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
- good communication skills
- ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in a dishwashing machine depending on equipment
- washes pots, pans, and trays ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and procedures
- ensures compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- maintains appropriate temperatures and chemical levels in dishwashing equipment
- keeps dish area orderly and safe
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors
- cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces
- removes trash and cleans garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- assists in loading and unloading supplies
- performs other duties as assigned
