Job Requirements
- Previous dishwashing experience preferred but not required
- ability to work full time schedule including some weekends and holidays
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior dishwashing or kitchen sanitation experience helpful but not required
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- ability to work full-time schedule including rotating weekends and holidays
- strong attention to detail
- ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting, and handling cleaning equipment

Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or with dishwashing machine ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- polishes silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths ensuring sanitation
- ensures compliance with safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards
- keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors according to safety and sanitation standards
- cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces
- removes trash and cleans garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- assists with loading and unloading supplies
- performs other duties as assigned
