Job Requirements
- Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for washing and cleaning dishes and kitchen areas
- Availability to work full time with variable days and shifts from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Willingness to handle waste disposal and kitchen cleaning duties
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Knowledge of safety procedures in kitchen environments
- Ability to operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
- Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
- Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
