Job Duties
- Maintain a clean kitchen
- Properly wash and sort soiled dishes
- Prep food as needed
- Keep dish area organized and free of clutter
- Set up dish stations including dish machines and sinks
- Maintain clean and dry floors throughout the shift
- Assist in all facets of the operation
- Work in a professional kitchen with cooks and chefs
- Wash and sanitize dishes using dish machine and sinks
- Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Continuously bend, reach, twist and use hands and arms
- Clean machines and appliances used in kitchen
- Sweep and mop floors especially when items are broken or spilled
- Take out trash and rinse garbage cans
- Support other restaurant staff by assisting with other tasks as needed
- Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes
- Follow instructions from immediate supervisors
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor
- Provide daily feedback and report issues
- Adhere to proper food handling standards including labeling and storage of food items
