Job Duties
- scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or with dishwashing machine
- washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures
- polishes silverware using various methods to ensure cleanliness
- complies with safety and sanitation standards
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels as per standard requirements
- keeps dish area orderly and clean
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors
- cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces
- removes trash and cleans garbage receptacles
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- assists with loading and unloading supplies
- performs other assigned duties
