Job Duties
- follow the posted work schedule and arrive on time and in appropriate work attire
- maintain the kitchen and other assigned area in a sanitary manner
- properly wash china, flatware, glassware, and other kitchen equipment including machine rinse pressure and water temperatures
- establish and maintain constructive working relationships with coworkers and residents
- be familiar with food handling procedures and regulations
- operate kitchen appliances such as the dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker and ice machine
- assist with food preparation, inventory, maintenance, food deliveries and shelving stock
- work weekends and holidays as assigned
- be flexible to work shifts other than the one hired for
- work extended hours up to 16 hours per day if required
