Job Requirements

No prior experience required
Ability to work full-time, Sunday through Thursday including night shifts
Ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines
Physical capability to handle manual labor such as lifting and standing
Must be able to comply with all health and safety standards
Eligibility to work at Northeastern University location
Willingness to perform repetitive and routine cleaning tasks

Job Qualifications

No prior experience required
Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow safety protocols
Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to varying hours
Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Basic communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Job Duties

Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machine ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation
Washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures ensuring proper sanitation
Polishes silver using burnishing machine, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or hand cloth to ensure cleanliness
Ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains chemical and temperature standards
Keeps dishwashing area orderly and safe
Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain safety and sanitation
Cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food preparation surfaces
Removes trash and sanitizes garbage cans
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
Assists with loading and unloading supplies and performs other duties as assigned
