Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks
- Knowledge of food safety procedures
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain food handler permit after hire
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Duties
- Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of always providing exceptional service
- Transport, clean and maintain all cooking utensils, pots and pans and service ware, maintaining dishwashing area in conjunction with service staff and management
- Maintain, clean, and keep organized all Food and Beverage operational facilities areas, including service equipment, coolers, freezer, dry pantry food storage areas, and storage facilities
- Follow all safety standards about food handling and the policies and protocols for proper rotation of food products received and used
- Ensure that proper chemicals are applied within all food handling areas to include the dishwasher and three-compartment sinks
- Maintain all testing supplies to ensure sanitary conditions exist during normal operation
- Fulfill the above functions in all Food and Beverage operational venues and outlets
- Accept and properly inventory all Food and Beverage deliveries, including produce, meats, groceries, and paper products
- Transport and properly dispose of all garbage to dumpsters or compactor, clean and maintain trash receptacles and transportation carts and dollies
- Promptly and carefully sort soiled service ware for proper washing, quickly wash all ware and replace in storage areas
- Operate dishwashing machines to ensure proper finish on silverware, clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots and pans, keep dish machine properly cleaned and maintained
- Perform general cleaning tasks using hotel-approved cleaning products
- move supplies and equipment as needed
- Perform daily tasks including preparation of food products as directed by Food and Beverage management
- Advise management of any safety hazards or violations
- Report any suspicious persons or activity to supervisor immediately
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor including cross-training
- Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program
- Maintain regular attendance
- Work varying schedules to meet business needs including days, evenings, graveyards, holidays, and weekends.
