Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior dishwashing experience in a large-volume commercial kitchen
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to coincide with event needs
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repetitively
- Ability to bend, lift, stoop, and carry equipment frequently
- Ability to work in hot, damp environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Prior dishwashing experience in a large-volume commercial kitchen
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and public relations skills
- Ability to work with a team or individually
- Familiarity with principles of safety and sanitation
- Ability to recognize the importance of contributing to a team environment and support other team members to provide excellence to customers
Job Duties
- Be an instructor in the subject of work to all who come to Goodwill for training or job placement assistance
- Teach others through your own work ethic and passion for quality
- Wash and store properly all dishes, eating utensils, pots, pans, bakeware, and other equipment for the department
- Maintain the dish pit area and dish machine in a sanitary, safe, and efficient manner
