Job Requirements
- Must possess physical strength to perform job duties
- able to lift and transport at least 50 pounds
- able to push and pull carts and equipment up to 250 pounds
- capable of standing and moving for up to 4 hours
- able to perform activities like bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
- closed toe, non-canvas, and non-skid soled shoes required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma is desirable
- previous restaurant or food service experience helpful
- ability to follow verbal and written directions
- ability to work with industrial cleaning supplies
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- ability to multitask several duties at one time
Job Duties
- Sweeps and mops floors
- cleans walls and floor mats
- removes refuse and cleans trash containers
- maintains the loading dock area in an orderly fashion
- picks up trash in the kitchen and loading dock area
- maintains the walk-in refrigerators
- maintains the cleanliness of storage areas, tools, equipment, carts, and other items as directed
- participates in dish area operations and returns insufficiently cleaned items for a second wash
- changes and disposes of grease
- maintains awareness of safety and accident prevention and reports incidents
- assists fellow associates as needed
- reports maintenance or other problems to the manager on duty
- follows company policies, safety, and sanitation procedures
- may work nights, weekends, and overtime
- performs additional tasks as assigned by management
