Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to perform medium physical work including lifting 20 to 50 pounds occasionally and standing for long periods
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to comply with OSHA safety guidelines
- Must wear safety glasses when handling chemicals
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in dishwashing or similar role preferred
- Ability to operate dishwashing equipment safely
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic food preparation skills
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain floors, worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks
- Separate and remove trash and garbage, place in designated containers, clean garbage cans
- Wash pots, pans, trays by hand, scrape food from dishes, operate dishwashing machine, rinse glasses twice
- Polish silverware with appropriate tools, transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Set up banquet tables as needed
- Wash and peel vegetables using knives or peeling machines
- Comply with OSHA safety regulations and wear appropriate safety gear when handling chemicals
- Organize and rotate stock to ensure proper storage
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management, maintain punctuality and proper uniform
- Greet guests warmly, contribute to a positive atmosphere
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
