Job Requirements
- Ability to work part-time hours including evenings, weekends, and event days
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks related to dishwashing
- Willingness to comply with safety and cleanliness standards
- Capable of following instructions and working as part of a team
- Must be able to handle workload during busy event schedules
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace is preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen sanitation is an asset
- Basic understanding of safety and sanitation protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, and trays
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth based on assigned equipment and procedures
- Maintains compliance with outlined safety and sanitation procedures
- Monitors and maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- Keeps dish area orderly and safety compliant
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure hygiene standards
- Cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
- Removes trash and properly disposes of it
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Assists with loading and unloading supplies
- Performs other duties as assigned
