Job Requirements

Ability to work part-time hours including evenings, weekends, and event days
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks related to dishwashing
Willingness to comply with safety and cleanliness standards
Capable of following instructions and working as part of a team
Must be able to handle workload during busy event schedules
Reliable transportation to and from the workplace is preferred

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen sanitation is an asset
Basic understanding of safety and sanitation protocols
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Duties

Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, and trays
Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth based on assigned equipment and procedures
Maintains compliance with outlined safety and sanitation procedures
Monitors and maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
Keeps dish area orderly and safety compliant
Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure hygiene standards
Cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
Removes trash and properly disposes of it
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
Assists with loading and unloading supplies
Performs other duties as assigned
