Job Duties
- Wash pots, pans, cooking utensils, other kitchen items and equipment by hand employing all sanitary measures
- Maintain a clean washing area and follow all safety guidelines
- Maintain adequate levels of detergents and cleaning supplies
- take inventory of supplies and submit order request as needed
- Assist in preparing ingredients for the hot foods and deli case foods by chopping vegetables, cutting meats, and ensuring herbs and spices are in place and readily available for production
- Ensure that department products are organized in kitchen storage areas and in coolers
- Respond appropriately to all customer interactions, providing excellent customer service
- Remove trash from department and dispose according to company procedure
- Comply with safety policies and procedures, store rules and company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Embrace new challenges and be a flexible team player, taking on responsibilities as needed
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
