Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a dishwasher in fine dining, hospitality, and/or casual dining restaurant
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Will be standing or in stationary position for long periods of time
- Lifting 70 lbs
- Bending, climbing or working in confined spaces
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication in English
- Must have organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Must have a state issued Health Card
- Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
- Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed
- Attention to detail and sanitation rules
- Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings
- Occasionally sitting, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing
- Pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs
- Lifting up to 70 lbs
- Standing or stationary position for long periods
- Balancing, twisting, using hands and fingers and wrist motions
- Good hand-eye coordination and mental alertness
- Ability to concentrate within numerous distractions

Job Duties
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
- Load and unload dish washing machines
- Wash specific items by hand such as wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china
- Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
- Set up workstations before meal prep begins
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock and replace when necessary
- Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical or performance issues
- Remove garbage regularly
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
