Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior dishwashing or kitchen cleaning experience preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- good communication skills
- physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Job Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using both dishwashers and hand-washing methods, ensuring all items are spotless and safe for food use
- organize and properly store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas for immediate availability to the kitchen team
- maintain cleanliness and order of the washing area, sinks, floors, and surrounding kitchen areas following Neighborly sanitation and safety standards
- regularly empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to designated areas to keep the kitchen clean and functional
- assist with deep cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing walls, cleaning mats, and other sanitation projects to maintain a safe working environment
- support the kitchen team with basic food preparation, restocking, or other tasks during low activity periods or when additional help is needed
- comply at all times with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies of the company
