Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting and moving weights up to 50 pounds
- Ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts consistently
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Preferred fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Job Duties
- Arrive to work on time for every scheduled shift
- Operate dishwashing machine to ensure proper cleaning of all dishes, silverware, glasses and various other items
- Perform scheduled cleaning to facilitate kitchen needs and maintain a clean, safe and sanitary work area
- Scrape food from dirty dishes and place them in rack or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- Store equipment and utensils in proper areas after they are air dried
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors
- Wash work tables, sinks, walls, refrigerators and empty waste after each meal
- Clean out garbage cans
- Assist with putting away food items upon delivery
- Assist with tray assembly
- Make toast and help the cook prepare other simple dishes as instructed by the cook or supervisor
- Perform other simple tasks as requested by the cook or kitchen supervisor
- Perform other duties, assignments and/or special projects as required related to resident service and daily dietary operations
