Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience as a dishwasher or similar role preferred but not required
  • Valid Food Handlers Certification
  • Ability to learn cash register software such as Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail in cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Familiarity with basic food safety and sanitation principles

Job Duties

  • Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
  • Follow proper procedures to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
  • Sort and stack clean dishes, glassware, and silverware in designated storage areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, including sweeping and mopping floors and disposing of waste properly
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and washing ingredients
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines including proper handling of chemicals and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen team and staff to coordinate tasks and report equipment malfunctions
  • Be flexible to assist in food plating, garnishing, general cleaning duties, and adapt to schedule changes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
