Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No experience necessary training will be provided
- Must obtain a food handler's permit after hiring
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work 32-40 hours per week Monday through Friday
- Availability to work Saturdays during higher business volume
- Availability to work additional hours during holiday seasons
Job Qualifications
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older
- No experience necessary we will train on site
- Previous experience within a bakery or restaurant kitchen setting is a plus
- Must obtain a food handler's permit once hired
- Ability to understand written and oral directions and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks using arms hands and fingers
- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Meticulous about maintaining a clean organized and sanitized workstation
- Strong attention to detail with ability to adhere to health and safety practices
- Diligent organized and self-motivated with ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Manually washes rinses and sanitizes all baking pans dishes utensils and other tools in a thorough and timely manner and adheres to all Nothing Bundt Cakes and local health department standards
- Monitors sanitization levels to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines
- Gathers and removes garbage sweeps and mops floors and cleans floor drains
- Performs routine cleaning of various locations within the bakery including but not limited to refrigerator chiller break area dish pit area oven and bathroom as needed
- Maintains a clean sanitized and organized workstation ensuring all cleaning supplies are sufficiently prepared for the start and end of each shift
- Monitors inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies management in a timely manner when replenishment is required
- Assists in the unloading processing and storage of the weekly supply delivery
- Supports other team members in cleaning and organizing workstations as needed
- Complies with all health and safety guidelines and Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures including strict adherence to personal hygiene
- Assists the baking team as needed when all tasks in the dish pit area have been completed
- Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record
