Job Requirements

  • availability to work various shifts including opens swings and closes
  • ability to lift or move up to 30 lbs
  • capable of using vision for distance close work color depth and peripheral vision
  • frequent use of hands to manipulate objects tools or controls
  • able to work in various temperature environments
  • ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively
  • ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • strict adherence to food quality and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • two years of back-of-house experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
  • demonstrated leadership abilities
  • bilingual english/spanish is a plus
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • excellent organizational skills
  • a collaborative team player

Job Duties

  • ensure a smooth workflow while washing dishes and utensils
  • prioritize food safety and sanitation practices
  • restock kitchen supplies and the cook line throughout your shift
  • maintain cleanliness in the restaurant
  • keep pace and organization during dish execution
  • understand the operation of the dish machine and its chemicals
  • follow procedures for changing out water and cleaning chemicals as needed
