Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Completion of all application parts including work experience section or submission of a detailed resume
  • Redaction of personal information from official documents such as transcripts, training, or veterans documentation if submitted
  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen steward role beneficial but not required
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good physical stamina for sustained periods of standing and performing manual tasks
  • Basic understanding of health and safety standards in food service environments
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware
  • Operate dishwashing machines and hand-wash items as needed
  • Store clean dishes properly and maintain organized kitchen spaces
  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping floors and cleaning surfaces and countertops
  • Take out trash and sanitize equipment and work areas
  • Stock supplies and kitchen necessities
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures
