Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in kitchen sanitation or related role preferred
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Capacity to handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and during events
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Past experience working in a food production kitchen or similar industry preferred
  • Ability to positively interact with diverse personalities, including co-workers and managers in fast-paced work situations
  • Must have active listening and effective communication skills at a basic level of English
  • Ability to be detail-oriented, multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours

Job Duties

  • Operate dish machine equipment and wash items not dishwasher safe by hand
  • Place clean dishes, utensils or equipment in proper storage areas
  • Assist on plate-up, food production line as needed
  • Sort and remove trash or compost and clean after usage
  • Sweep and scrub all floors in the kitchen and back-of-house areas
  • Assist in keeping dock areas clean and organized
  • Clean up spills and breakage on the event floor
