Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- One year prior experience in a team environment preferred
- Ability to work varied event-based schedules including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards
- Familiarity with HACCP guidelines
- Prior experience in fast-paced foodservice environments preferred
- Ability to handle physically demanding work
- Availability to work flexible hours during events
Job Qualifications
- Understanding of basic kitchen sanitation
- Basic knowledge of HACCP guidelines
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment including dishwashers, steamers, ovens, grills, fryers, flat tops, stove tops, slicers, knives, and other small wares
- At least one year prior experience working in a team environment
- At least 18 years of age
- Prior experience in fast-paced quick service, convention center, restaurant or other foodservice environment is helpful
- Ability to work event-based schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain adequate level of cleaning chemicals such as glass cleaner and floor cleaner
- Ensure all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
- Wash all small wares ensuring items are free of food and debris and properly sanitized
- Operate commercial dishwashing machines
- Maintain dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas clean
- Dispose of all trash in food production areas using approved methods
- Clean, separate, and put away kitchen equipment, carts, refrigerators and service ware
- Collect, breakdown, and dispose of cardboard boxes
- Sweep and mop designated areas
- Assist in completing china, glass, and equipment orders and delivering to requested locations
- Perform other duties as assigned by leads and/or management
