Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- understanding of basic kitchen sanitation
- ability to operate commercial dishwashing machines
- familiarity with HACCP guidelines
- 1-year prior experience working in a team environment
- must be 18 years or older
- ability to work an event-based schedule including variable hours
Job Qualifications
- understanding of basic kitchen sanitation
- basic knowledge of HACCP guidelines required
- be familiar with all kitchen equipment, to include: dishwashers, steamers, ovens, grills, fryers, flat tops, stove tops, slicers, knives, and other small wares
- 1-year prior experience working in a team environment
- must be 18 years or older
- prior experience working in a fast-paced quick service, convention center, restaurant or other foodservice environment helpful
- ability to work an event-based schedule which may include days, nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- maintain an adequate level of chemicals such as glass cleaner, floor cleaner, and anything else needed as determined by a lead or manager
- ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
- washing of all small wares
- make sure all items are free of food and debris and properly sanitized
- operating commercial dishwashing machines
- maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
- disposal of all trash in food production areas using approved methods
- cleaning, separating, and putting away kitchen equipment, carts, refrigerators and service ware
- collection, breakdown, and disposal of cardboard boxes
- sweeping and mopping of designated areas
- assist in completing china, glass, and equipment orders and delivering to requested locations
- other duties as assigned by leads and/or management
