Job Requirements

  • Approved Food Handler's Card prior to first day of work
  • Non-slip shoes prior to first day of work
  • Ability to stand 100 percent of the time during shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety rules
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work in varying locations and flexible job duties
  • Ability to follow all sanitation guidelines and safety protocols
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service or high volume food service
  • Preferably 1 year of dishwasher experience
  • Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Demonstrates a high level of customer service
  • Shows willingness to continually grow in knowledge and seek training opportunities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional conduct

Job Duties

  • Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment in a timely manner
  • Assist with cleaning, stocking, and lifting items in other areas as requested
  • Ensure dishes are restocked accordingly
  • Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized
  • Step in as line servers when the Caffe is busy
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by a Manager
