Job Requirements
- Approved Food Handler's Card prior to first day of work
- Non-slip shoes prior to first day of work
- Ability to stand 100 percent of the time during shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of health and safety rules
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work in varying locations and flexible job duties
- Ability to follow all sanitation guidelines and safety protocols
- Strong organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service or high volume food service
- Preferably 1 year of dishwasher experience
- Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Commitment to maintaining the highest health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Demonstrates a high level of customer service
- Shows willingness to continually grow in knowledge and seek training opportunities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional conduct
Job Duties
- Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment in a timely manner
- Assist with cleaning, stocking, and lifting items in other areas as requested
- Ensure dishes are restocked accordingly
- Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized
- Step in as line servers when the Caffe is busy
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested by a Manager
