Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- regular attendance is required in compliance with hotel standards
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- comply at all times with hotel standards and regulations
- be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers, and team members
- set up work station as required including filling dish machine, checking chemical levels, and gathering set-up equipment
- rinse and scrape all dishes, wash dishes and flatware, and put clean dishes in storage
- sweep and mop kitchen floor, empty and clean trash cans
- monitor chemicals and water temperature, change water at intervals
- clean kitchen equipment and organize storeroom
- notify supervisor of malfunctioning equipment or unsafe conditions
- follow company policies and procedures
- complete side work duties and operate dishwashing equipment
- maintain cleanliness of back dock and dumpster area
- empty garbage cans regularly and safely
- know location and operation of fire extinguishing equipment
- practice safe work habits
- follow proper cleaning and reassembling procedures for kitchen equipment
- be familiar with hotel emergency procedures
- assist in maintaining order and cleanliness of storage areas
- assist in set up and breakdown of restaurant buffet
- perform other duties as requested
- attend all training and meetings
