Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Food Handlers Permit required in accordance with the Lincoln-Lancaster Health Department
- Ability to understand and follow direction
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to complete required pre-employment food service training, if applicable
- Ability to work in a team
- Positive attitude and neat appearance

Job Duties
- Scrape and sort dishes before loading them into a dishwashing machine for cleaning
- Maintain dishwashing machine and report any mechanical faults to Executive Chef or Sous Chef
- Monitor dish machine water temperature during sanitized wash cycle and record temperature on log
- Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items using dish machines or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas after they have air-dried
- Clean work areas including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking areas
- Ensure that all chemicals for dish machine and 3-compartment sink are kept filled
- Keep all kitchen wares storage areas clean and orderly
- Remove trash from kitchen and transport to dumpster and clean/sanitize all garbage cans
- Assist with accepting delivery items and storage of such items
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or using carts
- Occasionally assist in kitchen prep
- Adhere to ASM SAVOR dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes
