Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent certification
Previous dishwashing or commercial kitchen experience preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for full shifts (up to 8 hours)
Alaska Food Handler Card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using both manual and mechanical cleaning methods
Maintain the dishwashing area in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition at all times
Properly handle and store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Routinely clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and floors to uphold health and sanitation standards
Safely dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste, transporting items to designated dumpster areas
Check and maintain dish machine chemicals and water temperatures, reporting any malfunctions to a supervisor
Support kitchen operations by restocking stations and assisting cooks as needed
Promote and uphold a strong culture of safety and teamwork, including food safety and employee well-being
