Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous dishwashing or kitchen experience a plus
- ability to work part time with flexible schedule
- willingness to comply with safety standards and procedures
- ability to lift and move moderate weights
- ability to stand for extended periods
- must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Previous high volume dishwashing experience preferred but not required
- ability to work varying hours including rotating weekends and holidays
- capability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- basic knowledge of safety and chemical handling
- strong attention to detail
- ability to follow instructions and work in a team
- good physical stamina for standing and manual tasks
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machine
- washes pots, pans and trays according to assigned procedures
- polishes silverware using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth
- ensures compliance with safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels as per standards
- keeps dishwashing area orderly and safe
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors
- cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators and food prep surfaces
- removes trash and maintains cleanliness of garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- assists with loading and unloading supplies
- performs other duties as assigned
