Job Requirements
- Must be willing and able to meet personal schedule requirements punctually
- Work a variable, flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Stand and/or walk for an entire shift
- Perform in limited physical space with variable ventilation, smoke and extreme temperatures
- Handle extremes in water and air temperature
- Safely transport items to and from areas of the kitchen on a slick and uneven surface
- Safely transport containers that weigh up to 50 lbs from any point in the kitchen to the dish area and vice versa
- Transport dishes, bus tubs and/or trays from the dish washing area to any area in the kitchen, including stairs where applicable
- Safely move about in all areas of the restaurant
Job Qualifications
- Willingness to adhere to punctual personal schedule requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capability to stand and/or walk for the entire shift
- Ability to work safely in limited physical spaces with varying temperature and ventilation
- Physical capability to handle up to 50 lbs safely
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Wash and sanitize all food service utensils, glassware, plate ware, pots, and pans
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dishwashing area
- Safely transport dishes, bus tubs, and trays throughout the kitchen
- Assist in organizing and stocking clean kitchen equipment
- Comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support kitchen and dining staff with timely availability of clean items
- Participate in maintaining a safe working environment
