Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred
- ability to lift 30-50 lbs
- ability to stand for extended periods
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- valid Food Handler's Card
- ability to communicate effectively in English or bilingual
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior dishwashing, kitchen, or receiving experience preferred
- must speak English or be bilingual (English plus another language)
- ability to lift 30-50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and events
- possession of a Food Handler's Card
Job Duties
- Operate commercial dishwashers
- wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and kitchen tools
- maintain clean and organized dish pit, storage areas, and walk-ins
- receive and inspect deliveries
- label products with received and use-by dates
- rotate inventory using FIFO principles
- support chefs and line cooks with timely turnover of tools and equipment
- ensure all areas meet local health and safety standards including San Francisco health code
- assist with trash, recycling, and basic prep tasks as needed
