Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • previous banquet experience preferred
  • food handlers card required
  • knowledge of food service regulations
  • ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • willingness to work varying schedules
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to follow company policies and federal, state, and local laws
  • ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, reaching, climbing

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • previous banquet experience preferred
  • food handlers card required
  • knowledge of food service regulations
  • skillfully uses hand tools or machines needed for the position
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • able to work in fast paced environment
  • able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
  • able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks

Job Duties

  • Sweeps and mops floors
  • washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas
  • segregates and removes trash and places it in designated containers
  • washes pots, pans, and trays
  • polishes silver
  • transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • restocks tools and supplies for next shift
  • sets up banquet tables
  • helps line cook prep food
  • helps line cook date food
  • maintains inventory
  • maintains temperature logs
  • helps line cook properly store food
  • keeps walk-in cooler/freezer organized
  • busses tables
  • walks the floors and picks up any room service/bar trays
  • maintains a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • maintains professional image at all times through appearance and dress
  • follows company policies and procedures
  • operates in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws including OSHA, EEOC, wage and hour, and health code laws
  • other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
