This role is based at the American Express Lounge at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), offering a full-time dishwasher position with a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour. As a dishwasher at Sodexo, you will play an integral role in supporting kitchen and facility operations by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the food production and service areas. The position involves cleaning and maintaining equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage areas workspaces. It also includes transporting and storing supplies and assisting with various set-up and break-down tasks as directed.

Working closely with kitchen staff and other facility personnel, you will help maintain a hygienic and efficient environment that aligns with Sodexo's high standards for food safety and customer satisfaction. The role demands attention to detail and a proactive approach toward maintaining sanitary conditions. Key responsibilities include washing dishes by hand or using commercial dishwashing machines, cleaning and sanitizing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. You will also be expected to remove trash and garbage to designated locations and restock essential supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.

This is a physically active role that requires substantial walking and mobility. Candidates must be able to stand or walk for extended periods throughout shifts that may exceed eight hours and be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting or moving of items up to 50 pounds. Punctuality and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts are essential to fulfill the needs of this position.
