As a Dishwasher/Utility team member, you will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the entire restaurant. Your responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, as well as operating the dishwasher and other equipment safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas, supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation tasks such as making the restaurant's signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and ensuring all cleanliness and safety protocols are strictly followed. This role requires a strong focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction, with every decision made prioritizing the experience of both the guests and your fellow team members.

The physical demands of this role require the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds safely, and remain on your feet for 8 to 12-hour shifts. Attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a team-oriented mindset are critical to success in this position. Job Duties

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
  • cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
  • safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
  • emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
  • working as one kitchen by supporting the cooks with prep work, preparation of our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and other tasks as needed
