Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- capable of prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds
- must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
- background check and drug screen required
- proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- many healthcare facilities require full COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years old
- communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
- must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
- preferred culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare, dishwasher, housekeeping, janitor, custodian)
Job Duties
- maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom
- put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes
- stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift
- clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware in a timely manner
- set up and maintain a 3-compartment sink and dish machine
- vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors and high-traffic areas
- monitor and empty trash cans
- adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures
- assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
