Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • capable of prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds
  • must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
  • background check and drug screen required
  • proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • many healthcare facilities require full COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Job Qualifications

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
  • must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
  • preferred culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare, dishwasher, housekeeping, janitor, custodian)

Job Duties

  • maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom
  • put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes
  • stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift
  • clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware in a timely manner
  • set up and maintain a 3-compartment sink and dish machine
  • vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors and high-traffic areas
  • monitor and empty trash cans
  • adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures
  • assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
