Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen support roles helpful
  • Must obtain and maintain Food Handlers Permit
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must comply with uniform and appearance standards
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety standards
  • Basic English proficiency
  • Ability to follow instructions and policies
  • Willingness to learn and maintain Food Handlers Permit

Job Duties

  • Obtain and maintain a current Food Handlers Permit
  • Regular timely attendance is required
  • Wear proper uniform as described by policy
  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware using manual and commercial dishwasher
  • Load and unload dishwashers ensuring proper placement of items
  • Scrape and rinse dishes before washing
  • Maintain a clean and organized dish area free of clutter
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, tables, and work surfaces
  • Clean and sanitize storage areas including refrigerators and freezers
  • Unload and store food deliveries
  • Report any issues with equipment, safety, or sanitation to management
  • Perform opening, ongoing, and closing procedures
  • Depart from work as scheduled
  • Other tasks assigned by Manager on duty
